Lori K. Yauch, attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate work in Audiology and Speech Sciences. She completed her Masters Degree at Eastern Michigan University in Speech Language Pathology.
She has worked in a variety of settings from schools to hospitals to sub-acute rehab and long-term care centers. Her knowledge of patient populations ranges from pediatric to geriatric -- emphasis on geriatric for the last 19 years. Her expertise includes cognitive-linguistic treatment, dementia management, dysphagia and supervision of student clinicians and Clinical Fellows.
In August 2010, Lori founded LKY Therapies, LLC. The primary focus of the company is the sale and promotion of the current guidebook and the flagship version, Movies and Music: A Clinician's Guide to the Classic Movie Musical and Group Activity. She offers educational/informational marketing seminars to facilities as well as training in the use of the program.
In her community, Lori provides self-improvement classes on an individual and group basis and speech-language pathology services on a consultation basis.
Her gift is the joy, innovation and care she brings to her work, her patients and her belief in every person’s right to reach their highest potential, while having fun along the way.
