It contains one of the most iconic song and dance routines ever put on film and was choregraphed by one of MGM’s most famous and popular dancers of all time~ Gene Kelly.

The story centers on the careers and love lives of silent screen duo, Lockwood and Lamont (Kelly and Hagen), and the rising star of chorus girl, Kathy Seldon (Reynolds).
